Comprehensive Reports on Vehicles
We provide comprehensive reports on vehicles within the terms of reference of the client. This report is usually provided following a physical inspection of the vehicle/plant but may also be carried out from images. All estimate reports are compiled by Glassmatix Estimating System. We can source Salvage bids from our panel of licenced vehicle dismantlers. Our reports will always give a conclusion or direction on what we believe is the best course of action for progression which is always validated.
The following are the various different Reports we provide
Estimate Report:
This report is usually required when a vehicle/plant has sustained damage either accident or mechanical/electrical. These reports are compiled using the industry accepted software Glassmatix Estimating which can be completed on location in most circumstances.
Vehicle Condition Report:
This report is required when a vehicle has being deemed an uneconomical repair following a road traffic accident and has being subsequently repaired. This report is usually requested for insurance purposes however we would recommend any vehicle that has being treated as an uneconomical repair to have this inspection and report carried out. It is accepted that generally vehicles that have being deemed Category C and D only ever be repaired using alternative parts.
Confidential / Engineers Report:
This report is usually only required by the legal profession or there clients. These reports are comprehensive and can involve a lot of research and external references. These reports can be used in evidence for arbitration or court purposes where we also provide Expert Witness Evidence when required.
Independent Valuation Reports:
This report is usually requested where two or more parties cannot agree on the value of a vehicle/plant. This report is usually compiled taking condition, availability and market price into consideration. This report is usually carried out to assist a client with being indemnified.
Audit Reports:
These reports are generally only required within the insurance industry and are carried out post repair with details of costings, parts used, quality and procedure recorded along with any specific instructions.
Declaration Reports:
Reports carried out by an SQI (suitably qualified Individual) for vehicles being converted. These reports are usually to do with revenue and are typically Private Vehicles being converted to Vans / Crewcabs or Vans to Campers etc. We would advise that you contact us prior to carrying out any conversion in order to determine if it will conform to requirements.
Modification Reports:
Reports carried out by an SQI on the request of a CVRT centre or NCT centre. These reports are compiled in accordance with the Road Safety Authority and can involve more than one inspection of the vehicle.
